Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Arrives In
St. Petersburg, Russia
Chief Minister Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje arrived in St Petersburg, Russia at around 3pm local time. She was received by Consul general India in St. Petersburg, Shri. Arun Kr. Sharma. Raje was accompanied by CS. Rajan, Vice-Chairman, Chief Ministers’ Advisory Committee and Arijit Banerjee, Pr. OSD.
During her two day stay in St Petersburg, among other things, Chief Minister is expected to interact with experts in heritage conservation, art restoration, museology. Incidentally, St. Petersburg, the capital of Imperial Russia, is one of the World most beautiful cities with 36 Architectural Complexes and 4000 individual monuments are listed together as UNESCO World Heritage. 221 Museums, 2000 Libraries, 80+ Theaters, 100 Concert Organizations, 45 Galleries and 62 Cinemas and 80 other cultural establishment, St Petersburg is the unarguable culture capital of Russia. The City hosts 100 Festivals and Competitions for Art & Culture every year.
CM Raje shall also be meeting with the federal administration. St. Petersburg is home to numerous industries and partnerships in investment are expected to be discussed.
