We will provide employment to 15 lakh youth

Udaipur, 15 August. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje while addressing the huge gathering after hoisting the national flag at the state level function in Udaipur on Friday said we believe in policies not in the slogans. She clearly stated that for more than 50 years people of the state by handing over responsibility of fulfilling their dreams relied on people of one ideology, and now expectation are made from us to bring drastic change quickily but they need to to be patient. This patience will not be so long for 50 years and we will deliver results in the five years, she said. We will live up to the expectations of the youth and will provide employment to 15 lakh youths of the state, she added. She extended her greetings to the people of the state on the 67th anniversary of Independence Day.

The Chief Minister said the land of Mewar has stories of bravery and sacrifice in each and every particle of its soil. This land is the birthplace of Maharan Pratap, the historical battle of Haldi Ghati was fought here which inspires us even today, she said. This is the land of warriors where sacrifices were made by Pannadhay and Hadi Rani. This is the holy land of Lord Shri Nath Ji, Ekling Nath Ji, Rishabhdeo, Goddess Tripura Sundari, Beneshwar Dham, Somnath, Charbhujaji and Sawalia Seth where we bow our head in reverence.

Smt. Raje said our aim is Sab Jan Utthan-Sab Jan Vikas (Mass Regeneration-Mass Growth) and we will fulfill the dreams of the people. She said some people are trying to distract us but we will not let them succedd in their plans. We will develop the state by bringing all sects in the mainstream of development and will make Rajasthan on which we feel proud. She said Sarkar Aapke Dwar, Bhamashah Scheme, Skill Development, New Industrial Investment, Modernization of Fair Prices Shops and Promotion of Rural Tourism is in our priorities.

Interlinking of Rivers:  

The Chief Minister said to make the state self-reliant in power generation our government will bring new solar energy policy to generate 25,000 MW solar power in the the next five years. She said the dream of our former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee regarding intelinking of rivers would be fulfilled by our government in Rajasthan. We are going to start this ambitious project by constituting Rajasthan River Basin Authority, she added.

Skill Training Centre:

Smt. Raje said Rajasthan is the first state in the country to start the first Livelihood Skill Centre which is being set up in Udaipur. She said to provide skill training to the youth was the first priority of her government and assured that 15 lakh youths will be attached to employment in the five years.

Quoting Rabindranath Tagore she said, “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” This quote of Rabindranathji reflects the thinking of our government, she added.

Announcements for Mewar:

Addressing the state level function at Udaipur Chief Minister made some announcements for Mewar region on the Independence Day. She said to promote tourism Sajjangarh Biological Park would be opened for the tourists till the end of the year. The Gautmeshwar, Bhanwarmata, Sitamata and Ambamata fairs would be organised under the management of State Level Mela Authority. She also announced that technical and financial assistance would be provided for the proper maintenance of Gautameshwar temple.

The Chief Minister made announcement regarding feeder renovation of 591 feeders costing Rs. 23 crore in the tribal regions of Udaipur division, providing Rs. 80 crore to solve the drinking water problem of Pratapgarh city, 9.3 crore for construction of Hamera dam in Chotri Sadri and Rs. 5 crore for changing the old pipe lines in Dungarpur city. Smt. Raje also announced that 41 water lifting projects of tribal region would be re-started according to the availability of water.
