We will not let down the self-respect of the State in any situation

Jaipur, 26 January. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that her Government will not let down the self-respect of the State even in any crucial situation. She called upon for the participation of the all the officers, employees and the people of the State to make a New Rajasthan.

Smt. Raje was addressing the function after hoisting the national flag here at secretariat on Republic Day. She said five years ago our government had brought the State from the category of BIMARU state to the category of the developed States. She said for the first time our revenue was in surplus but because of the works taken up in a hasty manner during the previous government the situation has become severe yet again. The State has fallen in the category of BIMARU state once again, she said.

The Chief Minister called upon all the officials and employees and said the State is our home and we all together will improve upon it in the manner that no state will be ahead from us. She said the dreams of the people of state are connected to us and to fulfill their dreams our government will accomplish our Suraj Sankalp in the next five years. She said the cabinet meetings will be organised at all divisional headquarters and problems people facing there will be solved.

Smt. Raje appealed to all the officials and government employees to work with commitment to bring into reality the 60 day work plan prepared by the State Government. She said all the government employees should reach office on time; should work hard to fulfill the dream of the people and should not leave office before time.

Emphasizing the women empowerment, she said women should not be considered weaker. Wherever we are it is because of our strength, we have not been given any exemption by anybody, she said. “We are here because we are the best,” she added.

Additional Chief Secretary, Food & Civil Supply Shri Ashok Shekhar also addressed the function.
