Jaipur, 08 January. Presenting the vision of the State Government Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has urged the team Rajasthan to make a healthy, educated, gender sensitive, prosperous and happy Rajasthan which has strong infrastructure. She asked team Rajasthan to make a new and progressive Rajasthan which has significant position in developed and leading states of the country. She said the views of minorities would be taken into account and the voices of the most vulnerable in society would be heard in decision-making. She congratulated the officials for conducting peaceful, free and fair polls in the State.
Smt. Raje was addressing the district collectors and divisional commissioners during the inaugural session of the two-day Collector-SP Conference here at CMO on Wednesday. She said during our last regime (2003-2008) our government had left no stone unturned in pulling out Rajasthan from the classification of BIMARU status. Now, once again we start working with resolution to bring Rajasthan ahead in every sector from winning battle against poverty and backwardness, unemployment and unfulfilled dream of the young generation. She said team Rajasthan is competent in brining Rajasthan ahead facing all challenges.
The Chief Minister said to provide good governance we need participatory, consensus oriented, accountable, transparent, responsive, effective and efficient, equitable and inclusive administration which follows the rule of law. Laying emphasis on redressal of grievances she said during the ‘Suraj Sankalp Yatra’ she had observed that there was trust deficit among people about the system. She emphasized on effective redressal of the grievances and said if grievance redressal committees formed at district and sub-divisional level could not provide relief to people then the grievances would be heard at state level. The grievance redressal in districts would be evaluated on the basis of the number of grievances heard at state level, she added.
Smt. Raje emphasized on effective monitoring and fast implementation of 60 days Action Plan and directed collectors for weekly review of it. She said collectors need to put monitoring system in place to ensure 24 hours domestic power supply and 6.5 hours uninterrupted agricultural supply of electricity.
