Youth of the state to get world class training
MoU signed with two multi national companies Caterpillar and Cairn India in the presence of Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje on Wednesday here at Chief Minister’s office. Caterpillar will set up a Centre of Excellence in Jhalawar while Cairn in collaboration with TUV Rhineland will provide training to youth at Cairn Centre of Excellence at Jodhpur.
After signinig of MoU Smt. Raje said, she was looking forward to take this partnership with Cairn and Caterpillar further so that our youth can get benefit of it. She said signing of MoU with such prestigious companies was a good initiative and it will be beneficial for the youth of the state. The step will enable RSLDC to provide skill training to the youth in a modern way under the guidance of such big companies, she said.
Caterpillar will develop “Centre of Excellence” in ITI, Jhalawar campus for training and skill activities related to operation and maintenance of earth moving equipments used in construction and mining industry. The Centre will run activities like skill training programmes, career counseling and job fair to guide the youth.
Cairn India will provide training regarding basic welding, advanced welding, basic automobile, windmill and PV installation at the Cairn Centre of Excellence in Jodhpur. The training will be provided with the help of modern techniques and equipment. Cairn India has tied up with TUV Rhineland to provide training.
The first MoU with Caterpillar signed from RSLDC side by its MD Gaurav Goyal, from the state government side Director Training Shri A. K. Anand while from Caterpillar side Shri Ramesh Tipirneni sigend. The second MoU signed from RSLDC side by its MD Gaurav Goyal, from the state government side Director Training, Shri A. K. Anand and from Cairn India side its GM-CSR Smt. Ritu Jhingon and TUV Rheinland side signed by its MD Shri Thomas Foherman. Caterpillar and Cairn India gave presentation before the Chief Minister ahead of the MoU. Caterpillar also handed over the cheque of Rs. 2 crore to the Chief Minister from their CSR funds of FY 2014-15.
Jhalwar MP Shri Dushyant Singh, Manoharthana MLA Shri Kanvarlal Meena, Khanpur MLA Shri Narendra Nagar, other public representatives from Jhalawar, Chief Secretary Shri C. S. Rajan, Jhalawar Collector Shri Vishnu Charan Mallik and Director, Corporate Affairs in Caterpillar Smt. Devyani Rana were present during the signing of MoU.
