British High Commissioner says ‘Rajasthan CM a dynamic leader’

Jaipur, November 14. The labour law amendments and other industrial reforms initiated by the Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje are being appreciated not only in India but in other countries as well. Her vision and dynamic leadership is the talk of the town everywhere. On Friday, the CM received accolades during the inauguration function of JCB India’s manufacturing plant for her skilled management and workmanship.

Addressing the gathering of investors, industrialists, government officials during the inaugural event, British High Commissioner to India Shri James David Bevan called Smt. Raje a ‘dynamic leader’ and said that she was leading Rajasthan towards growth at a fast pace. Her newly launched initiatives would invite investments from all over the globe. It was for this very reason, British firms would also add to the prosperity of Rajasthan, he added.

Admiring the vision of the CM, Shri Amitabh Kant, the Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) to the Government of India said that her long-term planning and visualization lead for establishment of the country’s biggest manufacturing plant by JCB in Rajasthan.

She set up the Mahindra World City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) during her previous tenure as the CM. This time, she initiated the labour reforms and land acquisition law amendments, which are a trendsetter for other states of the country, he said.

Chairman of the JCB Group Lord Bamford also gave the credit for the changed, investment-friendly environment in the state to Smt. Raje’s efficient leadership. His company decided to set up the manufacturing plant in Rajasthan as a large portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor passed through the state, a better working environment and full co-operation of the government, he added.
