Departments Work In Coordination So That Benefit Of The Schemes Reaches To The People In A Proper Way

Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that departments work in coordination so that benefit of Individual Beneficiary Schemes could reach to the people in a proper way which helps in changing their lives. She suggested involvement of the self help groups in implementation of schemes so that more people could be covered under various schemes.

Smt. Raje was reviewing the progress of Individual Beneficiary Schemes at Chief Minister’s office on Friday. She directed the secretaries of various departments to visit districts every month to review implementation of the schemes. She laid emphasis on organization of camps in selected blocks of backward districts to make people more aware about the benefit of various schemes.

The Chief Minister said to encourage people to take benefit of the grants under community marriage at least one community marriage should be arranged in backward districts every month. She asked officials to prepare support system for weavers and artisans through Swavlamban and other livelihood schemes.

She directed that collectors should prepare list of disabled persons in their district so that disabled persons could be provided tri-cycle and other equipments meant for them. She said quality food could be served to the patients and their attendants on nominal price in hospitals. She suggested that it could be taken up as pilot project in backward districts like Baran and Jhalawar with the help of trusts.

The Chief Minister said that collectors should take interest in construction of toilets in their districts so that more and more Gram Panchayats could be made open defecation free (ODF). She said districts where collectors have taken interest have done a good job in toilet construction.

Additional Chief Secretary Woman & Child Development Shri Rakesh Srivastav, Principal Secretary Medical & Health Shri Mukesh Sharma, Principal Secretary Small Scale Industries Shri Rajeeva Swarup, Principal Secretary TAD Shri Khemraj, Secretary Rural Development Shri Rajiv Singh Thakur, Secretary to CM Shri T. Ravikant, TAD Commissioner Shri Bhawani Singh Detha and MD, RSLDC Shri Gaurav Goyal were present in the meeting. Officers also gave presentation regarding progress of the schemes.
