Jaipur, December 15. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, on Monday, met the women villagers who were recently given training for hand-pumps repair works. These lady mechanics would now take care of hand-pumps in their respective areas.

Smt. Raje appreciated the efforts women mechanics and assured them meeting in the field when she visited the region next time. She also distributed certificates of training to these mechanics. State Minister for Woman and Child Development Smt. Anita Bhadel told the CM that these women were given training for repairing hand-pumps by the district administration in joint collaboration of her department, Baroda Swarojgar Vikas Sansthan and the Public Health & Engineering Department. Shree Cement provided for hand-pump repairing tools to these 12 women, who got training.

On this occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Arun Chaturvedi, State Minister for Education Shri Vasudev Devnani, Chairman of the Heritage Conservation and Improvement Authority Shri Onkar Singh Lakhawat, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dharmendra Bhatnagar and District Collector Dr. Aarushi Malik were also present.
