Short term crop loan of Rs. 1000 crore would be disbursed in Rabi season

Jaipur, 15 January. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje reviewed the achievements of cooperative department and saw the presentation of 60 days work-plan.

During the presentation it was shown that target had been set to disburse Rs. 1000 crore as short term crop loan to farmers in Rabi Season, one lac M.T. Urea and 10,000 M.T. DAP would be supplied through cooperative societies. Under 60 days action plan target has been set to issue land mortgage release certificates to farmers who have repaid loan by December 2013.

Target has also been set to open seven women consumer stores in the State. Apart from this 250 New Mini Banks will be opened in the State and 2000 farmers will be provided long term loan of Rs. 40 crore while disbursement of Rs. 15 crore will be made through linkage of 2,500 SHGs by Central Cooperative Banks.
