Chief Minister attends musical evening at Albert Hall

Jaipur, December 13. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje attended the music festival ‘Jayantika’ organized by the state Tourism Department at Albert Hall, on Saturday, on the occasion of first anniversary of her assuming office in the government. Smt. Raje inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. During the musical presentation, renowned singers from several parts of the country enlightened the audiences with their performances.

Smt. Raje listened to the show with full attention and appreciated the artists. She attended the event at full length.

Students of Panini Kanya College, Varanasi opened the music show with vedic mantras. They presented selected suktas from all four Vedas in charming voice. Thereafter, Ustad Puranchand and Pyarelal Vadali from Amritsar presented Sufi kalams in enchanting voice. Madhup Mudgal and his team from Delhi also delighted the audience with the performance of sagun-nirgun bhajans.

Another performer from Delhi Sudha Raghuraman gave a Carnatic Bhakti Pravah presentation on different appearances of Lord Krishna. Mir Mukhtiyar Ali from Bikaner presented Kabir bhajans. Ao Naga Choir of performed enthralling Christian Hymns and Gospel Music. An Assamese band Papon & The East India Company also gave interesting presentation. The festival concluded with performance of Raghu Dixit Project Band from Bengaluru.

Among the audience Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Shri Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, State Minister Smt. Krishanendra Kaur Deepa, MP Shri Ramcharan Bohra, MLA Shri Ashok Parmani, other public representatives, dignitaries and general public were present.
