Rajasthan To Become A Leading State Of The Country In Three Years

Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje said that Rajasthan has moved ahead to become modern and developed state and in three years it will become a leading state of the country. Smt. Raje was addressing the gathering after foundation laying and inauguration ceremony of 19 development works of worth Rs. 3500 crore in Deedwana on Wednesday.
The Chief Minister said the previous state government handed over us Rajasthan as a state which was collapsing economically and where seeds of dissension hade been sown to block the stream of development. She said we all have to rise above mentality leaving all this behind and move ahead.
Smt. Raje said development is neither the task of one day nor it can be achieved alone. All we have to work together to fulfill the dream of our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi i.e. ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’.
The Chief Minister said from the 26th January, 2016 Water Conservation campaign will be kicked off in the state. In the first phase water conservation works will be taken up in 3000 villages having acute water problems and these works will be completed before start of monsoon season so that small ponds and other small river- streams and other water resources fill up with water.
Smt. Raje said from the 13th December, 2015 work to prepare e-Health cards of every citizen of Rajasthan under ‘Arogya Rajasthan’ campaign will start. She said Swasthya Bima Yojana will be implemented in the state from December this year and Rajasthan will be the first state to implement this scheme.
The Chief Minister said 5000 fair price shops will start working as Annapurna Bhandars from 31st October and in the next three years 25,000 fair price shops will be converted into Annapurna Bhandars where consumers will get items of domestic use on low price.
Smt. Raje extended her greetings for Diwali in advance and asked people to join Swachta campaign and pledge for cleanliness with puja of Goddess Laxmi this Diwali.
The Chief Minister also met two talented girls Miss Sarita and Miss Saroj chosen under Mukhymantri Aapki Beti Yojana in Nagaur district and handed over them cheques of 15-15 thousands each.
In the beginning PWD Minister Shri Yunus Khan welcomed Chief Minister. PHED Minister Smt. Kiran Maheshwari, Minister of Social Justice & Empower Department Shri Arun Chaturvedi, Industry Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Khimvsar, Agriculture Minister Shri Prabhu Lal Saini and other ministers and public representatives were present on this occasion.
