CM arrived in Yekaterinburg, INNOPROM-2016; Will participate in the opening ceremony
Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje arrived early this morning at the Kolsovo Airport in the sprawling city of Yekaterinburg, administrative capital of Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia.Yekaterinburg is the 4th largest city in Russia.
Chief Minister was received at the airport by Shri Pankaj Saran, Ambassador of India to the Russian Federation, Shri G. Balasubramanian, Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy Moscow and others.
Smt Raje, along with Industries Minister, Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Vice Chairman, CM Advisory Council, Shri CS Rajan and other officials shall be attending INNOPROM 2016 – a mega Industry and Trade fair in which India is a partner country. She shall attend the grand opening this evening in the Cosmos Centre, in the presence of Russian Minister for Trade & Industry, Denis Manturov, Smt Nirmala Sitharaman, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Commerce & Industry, Governor of Sverdlovsk Oblast Yegeny Kuyvashev, Chief Ministers of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh and others.
Over the next two days, Raje shall be meeting senior leaders of Russia as well as business persons of repute from various fields to discuss areas of possible collaboration.
