CM inaugurates the first Skill Development Centre of the country in Udaipur
Udaipur, 16 August. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje inaugurated the first skill development centre of the country under Livelihood Skill Project in Udaipur on Saturday. Thus Rajasthan became to the first state to start Livelihood Skill Project in the country.
Addressing the function after inaugurating the centre Smt. Raje said there are two ways to take country ahead i.e. Development and good governance. She called upon people of the state to fight casteism, regionalism and communalism which are obstructing the path of development. She clearly stated that her government will work to provide employment opportunties to all and said that we will have to unite to fail such plans which are obstructing the development process then we will be able to move ahead on the path of development.
The Chief Minister said tourists who visit Rajasthan to see our splendid forts, palaces and the cultural heritage will come to see our economic development and skill of our youth in the coming time. The state government will make youths self-reliant by providing them skill training. She said after Udaipur the state government will open 200 such centres in all the 33 districts of the state. It will be a big leap in making youth skilled to get employment. MoU has been signed with 40 agencies which will provided skill training to the youth, she added.
Smt. Raje after inaugurating the Skill Development Centre visited an exhibition related to employment training and skill enhancement among youths and took stock of the training facilities availed at the centre.
Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, Chief Secretary Shri Rajiv Mehrishi, Chairman RMoL Shri M. L. Mehta, Secretary Labour & Employment Shri Rajat Kumar Mishra and CMD RMoL Shri Gaurav Goyal were also present on this occasion.
