Adani Group to develop Solar Parks of 10,000 MW capacity in Rajasthan

An MoU was signed between the state government and Adani Enterprises Ltd. in the presence of Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje and MD of Adani Group Shri Rajesh Adani here at Chief Minister’s official residence on Monday.

MD, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC) Shri B K Dosi and CEO of Adani Enterprises Ltd. Shri Vineet Jain signed the MoU. Adani Enterprises, the flagship compay of Adani Group will develop solar parks having the capacity of 10,000 MW in the next 10 years. Out of which solar parks of 5,000 MW capacity will be developed in the next five years.

Adani Enterprises will set up solar power projects of 5000 MW on its own as part of these solar parks. Apart from this Adani Group will also develop solar manufacturing units and power evacuation system. Adani Group has proposed to make investment of worth Rs. 40,000 crore in the state.

Prinicipal Secretary, Energy Shri Sanjay Malhotra, Secretary to CM Shri Tanmay Kumar, Commissioner BIP Dr. Samit Sharma, Associate Vice President, Adani Power Shri R. K. Jain and other officials were present on this occasion.
