Let us make Rajasthan a leading State “AAO SAATH CHALEN”

Jaipur, January 25. On the eve of 65th Republic Day Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has extended her warmest greeting to the people of the State and has appealed to them to unite and work together for making Rajasthan a progressive and prosperous State.

In her message, Smt. Raje said that India was declared a Republic on 26th January, 1950 and our democracy has proudly established its distinct identity in the world. She said that the people of this State and the country have played a crucial role in contributing towards strengthening of democracy in the country.

Chief Minister said that the people of the State have once again reposed trust and entrusted the reins of the government to us for providing good governance. Accordingly, on assuming office, the State Cabinet, in its very first meeting, adopted the Suraj Sankalp Patra as a policy document. In addition, different Departments of the State Government took decisions in regard to public welfare measures and a 60-days’ Action Plan for implementing the same.

To ensure that Rajasthan enters the golden era of development, Smt. Raje said that her Government has set a goal of Vision-2020 and has initiated Herculean efforts for actualizing the dream of a New Rajasthan. Five priority sectors have been identified in the Vision document, namely promoting investment, reducing unemployment, improving the economy, education and skill development.

The Chief Minister has called upon the people to promote and strengthen the traditions of peace, harmony and brotherhood and ensure that Rajasthan becomes a leading State in the country in fields of education, health, economic activities and all other sectors with a pledge of working together, i.e. ‘Aao Saath Chalen’.
