Carries Vision To Make Indian Railways World-class Railway Services Extended In Rajasthan

Jaipur, July 8. The Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje welcomed the Rail Budget for financial year 2014-15 presented in the Lok Sabha by the Union Rail Minister Shri D.V. Sadanandgauda. She said that this would ensure safety of the railways, extension of facilities to passengers and improvisation in the infrastructure development and this would prove to be document which carries the vision of making railways world-class.

Smt. Raje said that the network of Indian Railways would strengthen with these budget proposals of high-speed and bullet trains to cover long distances in a country as vast as India, promotion of public-private partnership for new big projects and connecting major tourism sites related to all religions.

She said that the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s pledge to make Indian Railways world-class by modernizing and up-keeping the railway stations on the lines of airports, making wi-fi services available at A-category railway stations, advocacy for foreign investment after approval of the Cabinet would give a whole new look to the railways.

Smt. Raje welcomed the bouquet of budget proposals for Rajasthan including the survey for Ujjain-Jhalawar-Agar-Susner-Soyath new line, survey for doubling of Jaipur-Kota line, Jaipur-Madurai Premium Express, Bandra T-Jaipur Express (Weekly) via Nagda-Kota, Hazoor Saheb Nanded-Bikaner Express (Weekly), Bikaner-Rewari daily passenger train and extension of Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Sriganganar Express upto Bikaner.
