Union Mines & Labour Minister admires proposed labour reforms of Rajasthan Government

Jaipur, July 3. The Union Minister of Steel, Mines and Labour & Employment Shri Narendra Singh Tomar has admired Rajasthan Chief Minister for her efforts being made in labour reforms to generate more employment opportunities in the State.

During his meeting with Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje at Shakti Bhawan in New Delhi on Thursday Shri Tomar showed curiosity and keen interest in getting information about the proposed labour reforms of the Rajasthan government. It will add a new dimension in the labour reforms, he said.

CM Demands Gypsum & China Clay Be Given Small Minerals Status:

Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje urged that gypsum and china clay be given status of small minerals as it will help the state government to dispose of the mining related proposals at its own level. She said expeditious disposal of environmental and ecology related issues was much important. Smt. Raje also informed the Union Minister about online management system being used by the Mining department of the state to deposit fee & royalty online.

During the meeting consent was made regarding expedite disposal of the pending issues between the Govt. of India and the state government.

Chief Secretary Shri Rajiv Mehrishi, Principal Secretary Mining Dr. Ashok Shekhar and other senior officials were present during the meeting.
