Jaipur, June 26. The Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje said that if the CM, the Ministers, officials, teachers or doctors etc would do their duties and own responsibilities, then the grievances of the public would be redressed and the people would not face any crisis. She appealed the people to stay calm and assured them that her government was committed to resolve all major issues such as water for drinking or irrigation as well as the minor day-to-day problems.

Smt. Raje was addressing a gathering at Swami Keshwanand College in Hanumangarh during a public hearing as part of her Sarkar Aapke Dwar or Government at Your Doorstep campaign on Thursday. She asked the people not to believe that the government came there for tour and returned. All the problems received during these public hearings in four districts would be regularly monitored and followed-up, she added.

The Chief Minister hoped that this process would result into timely disposal of the almost all issues. She stated that when she initiated the Sarkar Aapke Dwar campaign, she was cautioned not to hit the hornets’ nest. But somebody had to take this up to resolve the public grievances, she said.

Smt. Raje said that her government accepted this challenge as the people of Rajasthan gave her historic mandate and trust. Now, the CM, the Minister and the officers, all were pressed into the service of the common man, she said. The CM appealed the people to not repeat their complaints regarding the same issue and asked them to use the Rajasthan Sampark portal to register their genuine issues.

Prior to this, the Chief Minister stopped her convoy on way to Sangariya at Lalgarh Jatan where a road accident had occurred. After seeing the injured on the road, Smt. Raje stopped to get down and arranged for transportation of the wounded persons to Sriganganagar hospital. She called up the Minister for Medical and Health Shri Rajendra Rathore over phone and directed him to make advanced arrangement at the Sriganganagar hospital by sending an alert to doctors to save the lives of the injured.

Smt. Raje also inspected a government primary school at Lalgarh Jatan, which was in dilapidated condition, and asked the collector to prepare technical estimates for a new building for this school. She further asked the village sarpanch to remove the waste matters piled-up on the roadside.

The Chief Minister visited a branch of Bhakhra Canal at village Gadarkheda in Sriganganagar. She inquired about the de-silting process and lining of the canal. She directed the officials of water resources department for maintenance of entire Bhakhra Canal system.

Smt. Raje also visited the Amargarh Gurudwara and offered prayers. At Karadwala village, when the CM reached to inspect a Rajiv Gandhi Seva Kendra, she was told about a case of mutation of land records not being changed in favour of a woman since the application was filed 20 years ago. Smt. Raje immediately summoned the Tehsildar of Sardulshahar  and directed him to take strict action against the officials responsible for this delay in land record change.

The Chief Minster also visited Bolawali village in Hanumangarh to look into a complaint of polluted water being supplied for drinking. At this village, Smt. Raje asked the district collector to explore the possibilities of constructing classrooms in the government school by fundraising through public support.
