CM discusses Bikaner’s development with experts

Jaipur, June 23. The Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje held wide discussions with experts in a series of meetings in regard to conservation of heritage, ultra-modern development, beautification works and reinforcement of canal system in Bikaner region. Detailed discussions were held among the state government officials, renowned architects, entrepreneurs and other experts in these meetings, which were organised at Gajner Palace in Bikaner on Monday as part of the Sarkar Aapke Dwar or the Government at Your Doorstep campaign.

Smt. Raje held the first meeting with Shri Karl Wadia, a renowned architect from Mumbai for town planning, development of Ravindra Manch and multi-storeyed parking and urban development. She also discussed the development and beautification of parks with gardening expert Shri Ravi Punde.

To explore potential of development of dairy in Bikaner, the Chief Minister met the representatives of Nestle company Shri Benet, Shri Sanjay Kajuria, Shri Julfikar Menon, Shri Pramod Goyanka and Shri Rajesh Shah. She also held meeting with the experts of Welspun company to discuss about new projects in energy and infrastructure sectors. In another important meeting, Smt. Raje discussed the problems of farmers in the command area of Indira Gandhi Nahar Project and strengthening of the canal system in the region.

Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Shri Prabhulal Saini were also present in the meeting on dairy development.

The Chief Secretary Shri Rajiv Mehrishi, Additional Chief Secretary (Infrastructure) Shri C S Rajan, Additional Chief Secretary (Administrative Reforms) Shri Rakesh Verma, Principal Secretary Finance Shri Subhash Garg, Secretary Planning Shri Akhil Arora and other officials of different departments were also present in these meetings.
