Rajasthan will transform and shine

Jaipur, 23 August. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that we all together have to make Rajasthan shining in all sectors so that people come here to see our progress. She said with hard work of all of us Rajasthan will transform and shine.

Smt. Raje was addressing people at Jansunvai programme in Khamnore Panchayat Samiti of Rajsamand district on Saturday during Sarkar Aapke Dwar Programme. She said people have to run pillar to post for their work, not for months but, for the years. She asked officials to do their job with attentiveness so that people could get relief.

The Chief Minister said during ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ I have to face people and they say declaring five day week was not right because employees are not found in government offices from Friday to Monday. She asked government employees to complete the assigned task on time because it was their duty.

Smt. Raje said quality of eduation in the government schools is degrading continuosly resulting in decreasing number of students and increasing private schools. She said during this tour she saw many schools where total number of students was 15-16 while private schools situated at the same place had 500 students enrolled.

CM Admires Watershed Development Works in Piplantri Gram Panchayat:

Smt. Raje made inspection of development works carried out on hilly area and pasture land under Watershed Development Programme at Piplantri Gram Panchayat of Rajasamand district. She had all praise for the efforts being made and works done in this Gram Panchayat under watershed development programme. She was much impressed to know about the tradition followed by the villagers in which they plant eleven trees on birth of the girl child and death of any person in the village.

The Chief Minister asked officials that send people who have done exemplery work here should be sent to other gram panchayats as Resource Persons so that they can train other people also to carry out good works there also. She said people of this area have put devoted their whole life for developing the forest which is praiseworthy.

Smt. Raje took stock of the solar hand pump, watershed structure and aloevera juice processing centre. She also directed the officials to prepare a work-plan to set-up a training centre related to forest plantation.

CM Makes Inspection of Gravel Road:

Smt. Raje made sudden inspection of gravel road from Walra Road to Village Gudha being constructed under MNREGA. While talking to labourers working there she came to know that 8 out of 25 labourers working on the site were on leave. She talked to women working on the site and asked them about the facilities of drinking water, shed and medical. She also saw Muster Rolls, Job Cards and Medical kits.

The Chief Minister visited Upper Primary School in Piplantri and talked to students about their study. She was happy to see good condition of class rooms, toilet and other facilities available in school. She asked divisional commissioner to provide computer in this school.

On her way to Khamnore from Rajsamand Smt. Raje visited Rajasamand lake and was concerned about the pollution in the lake water due to marble industry. She asked officials to find out possibilities of walking way and developing the old palaces from the tourism point of view.

During Govardhan Parikrama at Nathdwara she was angry to see the pollution and encroachment in Siyad pond located at the foothills of the Govardhan. She asked divisional commissioner and collector to remove encroachment, beautification of the place and thick plantation on the route of Parikrama.

CM Keenly Watches Terracotta Craft in Molela:

Smt. Raje visited the house of famous terracotta artist of Molela (Rajasamand) Padma Shri Mohan Lal Kumhar. She watched the process of making terracotta art with curiosity and keen interest. She talked to Shri Mohan Lal and his wife Navali Devi to know more about the making of plaques and idols with terracotta. Shri Mohal Lal presented idol of Lord Shri Nath Ji to Smt. Raje.

The Chief Minister offerd flowers on the mausoleum of Gaura-Badal at Rakt Talaai Monument at Khema village. She also planted a Kalp Vriksh at police line Rajsamand premise.
