Rail Budget lacks vision, disappointing for state

Jaipur, February 12. The Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that the interim Rail Budget 2013-14 of the UPA government politically motivated and very disappointing for Rajasthan.

Smt. Raje said that several previously declared schemes were not completed and new announcements had been made looking at the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Thus, there was no hope for completion of these new schemes as well. No proposals had been made in the budget to improve the deteriorating situation of the railways. This was a visionless budget and it would increase the burden on the public,she stated.
