Chief Minister had taken feedback from villagers

These officers have been suspended for negligence in electricity supply to villagers of Bithoor village in Ajmer district even though Chief Minister had directed for immediate supply of electricity during her visit on May 9.

It is evident that Chief Minister had made sudden inspection of camps at Jaisinghpura and Padasoli villages of Jaipur district and Bithoor village of Ajmer district and talked to villagers about their problems on May 9 during ‘Nyay Aapke Dwar’ campaign. Villagers in Bithoor had complained to Chief Minister that there was no supply of electricity during the night. After that Smt. Raje had directed Ajmer collector Shri Gaurav Goyal to supply electricity to this village from Bheempur feeder with immediate effect.

After Chief Minister’s directions though electricity had been supplied during the night hours on May 9 from Bheempur feeder but when feedback was taken at CM level it was found that the next day on May 10 there was electricity cut from 1 PM to 7.30 PM in Bithoor village. Smt. Raje had directed the Principal Secretary Energy to initiate inquiry and take strict action against the negligent officers. After the inquiry it was clear that on May 9 electricity was supplied in Bithur village but on May 10 there was electricity cut for more than 6 hours and negligence was found.
