CM discusses possible co-operation between UK and RAJASTHAN in thrust sectors

Jaipur, 17 January. A delegation of U.K. India Business Council (UKIBC) led by Ms. Patricia Hewitt, Chairperson of UKIBC, met Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje on Saturday here at the Chief Minister’s office.

During the meeting with delegation Smt. Raje discussed possibilities of cooperation between the United Kingdom and Rajasthan on thrust sectors like Energy, Smart City, Road Safety, Health and Skill Development. Detailed discussions were held regarding possible investment opportunities during the ‘Resurgent Rajasthan Summit’ to be held in Jaipur in November 2015. Deputy British High Commissioner, Chandigarh Shri David Lelliot was also present on this occasion.

A delegation led by Commerce Minister of Bangladesh Shri Tofail Ahmed also made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Smt. Raje. High Commissioner of Bangladesh Sayed Muazzam Ali, Additional Secretary of Bangladesh Government Shri Manoj Roy and Commercial Councilor of Bangladesh Shri Nahid Rashid were also the part of Bangladeshi delegation.

Ambassador of Oman to India Shri Hamed Saif Al Rawahi also made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Smt. Raje.
