Chief Minister Inspects Heritage Conservation Works at Bikaner House

Jaipur, January 19. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje visited Bikaner House at New Delhi on Monday and inspected the ongoing heritage conservation works in the building complex.

During this, Smt. Raje suggested the officials associated with the conservation works that restoration of the building should be carried out in such a way that the original heritage look of Bikaner House was not disturbed. She asked the officials to speed-up the development efforts so that this historical building, adjacent to the India Gate, was restored as the “Gate Way of Rajasthan”.

The Chief Minister inspected the convention hall and other rooms and directed the officials to restore the entire building in tune with the Rajasthani art and culture.

Chief Secretary Shri CS Rajan, Principal Secretary General Administration Department Shri AK Singh, Member of the Chief Minister Advisory Council Smt. Meera Mehrishi, Chief Resident Commissioner at New Delhi Dr. Savita Anand, senior officials of the Public Works Department and other departments accompanied the CM during inspection.
