Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje met the Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley at his North Block Office in New Delhi on Wednesday evening. She demanded a special relief package worth 11,886 crore rupees from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) for the calamity-hit farmers of the state.

The CM told the Union Finance Minister that Rabi crops had suffered immense damages due to unseasonal rains and hailstorms in Rajasthan. The state government was making all possible efforts to provide relief to the affected farmers.

During this, Smt. Raje was accompanied by the State Minister for Home and Disaster Relief Shri Gulab Chand Kataria and Relief Secretary Shri Rohit Kumar.
