CM visits convention centre, takes stock of preparations for Resurgent Rajasthan Summit
Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje visited Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre at Sitapura, the main venue of Resurgent Rajasthan Summit on Wednesday evening. She also made inspection of various places in the city and took stock of the preparations of Resurgent Rajasthan.
The Chief Minister directed the officials to make Resurgent Rajasthan Summit a memorable and historical event. She said this event will create a new chapter in the development of the state. Investors from around the world will participate in this event. She directed to prepare the venue according to the Rajasthani Art & Culture. She said arrangements should be made to make participants face-to-face with the art and culture of Rajasthan and special care should be taken to provide facilities to them. She directed the officials of Jaipur Municipal Corporation and Jaipur Development Authority regarding proper cleanliness, removal of encroachment and stray animals, beautification and installation of road lights having similarity.
UDH Minister Shri Rajpal Singh Shekhawat, Mayor Shri Nirmal Nahata, ACS UDH Shri Ashok Jain, Principal Secretary Industry Shri Veenu Gupta, Principal Secretary LSG Shri Manjeet Singh, JDC Shri Shikhar Agarwal, CEO of Jaipur Municipal Corporation Shri Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar and officials of various departments were present on this occasion.
Before this Smt. Raje also visited Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University and asked the University management to develop the university premise in a planned manner. She said courses should be run in the University according to the modern needs. She directed to promote Yoga, Ayurveda and Medicinal Plantation. Smt. Raje visited Yog Sadhna Kendram and directed to work for research on Yoga and equip the Kendram with modern facilities keeping in view the future needs.
The Chief Minister discussed with Vice Chancellor Shri Vinod Shastri, Professors and officials of the University regarding designing new courses in the University for value addition along with subjects like Yoga, Jyotish and Vastu Shastra.
Higher Education Minister Shri Kalicharan Sarraf, Principal Secretary Ayurveda Shri Sanjay Dikshit, Principal Secretary Higher Education Shri Pawan Goyal and other officials were present on this occasion.
