Pre-School education to start in 61,000 Aanganbari Kendras for holistic & integrated development of children

Various Decisions Taken in the State Cabinet Meeting

The State Cabinet in its meeting on Wednesday decided to start pre-school education under Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Policy. The move will help in promoting the holistic and integrated development of children below 6 years through 61,000 Aanganbari Kendras in the state. The Cabinet Meeting was presided over by Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje.

After the cabinet meeting Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Rathore while talking to media persons informed that for the effective implementation of the ECCE Policy a General Council will be formed under the Minister for Women & Child Development while Executive Counil will be formed under the Principal Secretary of the Women & Child Development Department.

Shri Rathore informed that two teams lead by two senior IAS officers have reached to help the Rajasthanis stranded in Nepal after the recent earthquake. He informed that to bring stranded people 5 buses of RSRTC have been sent to Gorakhpur. Total 123 affected persons have reached here and a truck carrying relief material has reached Nepal. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje herself is monitoring the progress of relief and rescue operation, he said.

Shri Rathore said the Cabinet gave approval to the closure of Rajasthan State Coal Mining Company Ltd as Rajasthan Vidyut Utpadan Nigam has become eligible for allotment of coal mine under the ordinance of Govt of India issued on December 27, 2012. After the permission of the state government RVUNL allotted Kante Extension Coal Block having the capacity of 200 million tonne. In this circumstances there is no utility of Rajasthan State Coal Mining Company Ltd.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister said decision was taken regarding closure of Rajasthan Vaterinary Services Corporation Ltd as no medicines were procured through this company after its establishment. The purchase of medicines will be made by the Animal Husbandry Department under Pashudhan Nishulk Arogya Yojana.

Shri Rathore informed that the Cabinet also gave approval to the decision to reject the work order of the tender given to M/S Passavant Roediger GMBH for laying sewerage lines in Nathdwara city. The tenders were invited of Rs. 28.60 crore but the work orders were issued of Rs. 41.07 crores. The Cabinet Sub-Committee had found various irregularities in the work order and no global tender was invited before giving work order to the foreign company. Notices have also been issued to the Chief Engineer and other officers after the irregularities found in investigation.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister informed that the cabinet gave approval to the Rajasthan Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals (Check Post and Quarantine Camp, Manner of Inspection, etc) Rules, 2014. The Rules have been formed to ascertain that whether the animal is infected with any of the scheduled notified disease, the animal stopped at the check post or detained in the quarantine camp shall be inspected by the person incharge of the check post.

The Cabinet gave approval to amendment in Rule 24B of the Rajasthan Medical & Health Service Rules, 1963 for removal of anomalies in promotion and Grade Pay of Medical Officers and equivalent posts under Dynamic Assured Career Progression Scheme (DACP). The decision will give benifit to 1180 doctors who are getting less salary than their juniors.

The Cabinet also gave nod to the draft of Maharshi Arvind University, Jaipur Ordinance, 2015. The decision to name Govt. College, Anupgarh as Seth Biharilal Chhabra Govt. College, Anupgarh was also taken by the cabinet.

The Parliamentary Affairs Minister informed that it was also decided during the cabinet that cabinet meeting will be held every week. After the cabinet meet review of 4-4 departments will be made by the five groups headed by senior Ministers.

Shri Ratohre informed that Rs. 936 crore have been allotted to various district collectors to distribute in the affected areas of natural calamity. He informed that Chief Minster is reviewing it every week.
