Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje, had an hour long meeting with Mr. Masayoshi Son, Chairman & CEO, Soft Bank Corp. Soft Bank is a Japanese Corporation with wide ranging interests in Telecom, e-Commerce etc.

Areas of possible partnerships were discussed during the meeting. Mr. Son mentioned how emerging technologies have capabilities of changing lives. He also outlined Soft Bank’s global operations. Mr. Son recalled fondly his meetings with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and reiterated the commitments of Japanese Corporations to increase investment flow from Japan to India.

Smt. Vasundhara Raje extended a warm welcome to the visiting team and briefed them about the opportunities for investment and partnerships in the state. She emphasized on Public Private Partnerships and social and economical infrastructure. Mr. Son assured Chief Minister that his newly constituted India team shall continue discussions with the State Government.

Executive Chairman of SBG Cleantech Shri Manoj Kohli and Executive Advisor of Soft Bank Corp. Shri Raman Nanda were also present during the meeting.
