This budget will bring happiness in the life of common man

Welcoming the General Budget-2018, Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that this budget fulfils the ‘Sabaka Saath-Sabka Vikas’ concept of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Smt. Raje said this budget focuses on villages, poor, farmers, businessmen, youth and women. The scheme to build one crore houses to fulfil the target of housing for all by 2022, distribution of free LPG connection to 8 crore poor women under Ujjwala scheme, free electricity connections for 4 crore poor households under Pradhan Mantri Saubhagya Yojana are welcoming steps which will bring happiness in the life of common man and give new heights to the economic development of the country.

The Chief Minister said Budget presents a roadmap showing Government’s commitment towards welfare of farmers and doubling their income. Schemes have been introduced to promote horticulture, animal husbandry and agriculture sectors. Big budgetary allocation for education and healthcare sector are also welcoming steps. Increase of budgetary allocation for railway and roads will strengthen the infrastructure, she said.

Smt. Raje said the Union Government has presented impressive budget with the vision of development for all states. She said efforts have been made to create positive atmosphere to attract investment and this will help in generating new employment opportunities in the country.
