Discussions On Better Health Facilities For State Interiors

Jaipur, November 27. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje chaired a meeting of the Health and Nutrition sub-group of the Chief Minister’s Advisory Council at her residence on Thursday.

Issues related to better modern health services to the people in the interior regions of state by way of consolidation of the network of health sub-centres, primary or community health centres and district hospitals and making this existing infrastructure functional were discussed in the meeting. Developing ‘health routes’ for improvement of services due to vacancies of doctors or specialists and charting out methods for tackling mal-nutrition among the children were also talked about.

Chief Secretary Shri C.S. Rajan, Chief Minister’s Advisory Council Smt. Kiran Mazumdar Shaw and Shri Bibek Debroy, Principal Secretary Medical & Health Shri Mukesh Sharma, Secretary Planning Shri Akhil Arora, Mission Director (NRHM) Shri Naveen Jain, Additional Mission Director (NRHM) Shri Neeraj K. Pawan, other senior officials and health experts were present in the meeting.
