The conditions of various tourism destinations in the state worsened due to the negligence of previous governments. Vasundhara Raje Government has undertook transformation and renovation works of significant tourist destinations of Jaipur and surrounding areas knowing their worth and importance for the state. These include conservation, restoration & development of Circuit House & Museum with an estimated cost of rupees 95 lakhs, Devyani Kund in Sambhar with an estimated cost of rupees 178 lakh, Tourist Walk in Sambhar with an estimated cost of rupees 199 lakh and restoration work at Naraina Boorie in Sambhar.
