Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that after success of Sarkar Aapke Dwar (Government At Your Doorstep) campaign, now Nyay Aapke Dwar (Justice At Your Doorstep) initiative would be organised between May 18 and July 15 for disposal of cases pending in the revenue courts.

The Chief Minister was inaugurating Nyay Aapke Dwar campaign during the launch of Revenue Lok Adalat -2015 Handbook at Jodhpur House in New Delhi on Friday. She said that in the state about 3.5 lakh revenue cases were lingering on for long and causing sufferance to the farmers. Therefore, revenue Lok Adalats would be organized every year with the target of disposal of almost all these cases in next three years.

Smt. Raje said that the in-charge Ministers would launch this campaign in their respective districts and would also release the handbook. She said that this handbook was prepared for sharing of information about Lok Adalats with the revenue department officials, public representatives and the general public so that the campaign could become a success.

The CM said that the number of pending cases in the revenue courts were increasing every day. Farmers in the state were suffering a lot due to non-disposal of these cases.

“I felt this pain during the Suraj Sankalp Yatra. Then only, I decided that if I get an opportunity to serve the people of Rajasthan, I would get the farmers rid off this problem. Aiming this, I announced in the budget for speedy disposal of revenue cases,”

she said. Now, the revenue Lok Adalats would be launched every summers, she added.

Smt. Raje said that the state government would make efforts to ensure that the revenue officials provide relief to the farmers by disposing of not less than 1.5 lakh cases during this campaign.
