Collector-SP conference to be held from May 4 to 6
Collector-SP conference will be held from May 4 to 6 in Jaipur. Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje will inaugurate the conference on May 4. The conference agenda was given final shape in the state cabinet meeting held on Tuesday. The cabinet also cleared proposals regarding providing special benefits to investors for the industrial development in the state.
Divulging details about the decisions taken in the state cabinet meeting Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Rajendra Rathore informed the media persons that in the inaugural session of the Collector-SP conference principal secretaries of various departments will give presentation on Bhamashah Scheme, Nyay Aapke Dwar campaign, workplan for drinking water arrangement for the upcoming months, relief works, skill development, grievance redressal, Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan and Swachch Bharat Abhiyan. Collectors will also give presentation about the tasks completed and under implementation in their respective districts. Discussion will be made on innovations and best practices implemented in the districts, he informed.
On the first day of the conference collectors of four divisions will give presentation while on the second day collectors of three divisions will give presentation. On the third day joint meeting of Collectors and SPs will be held in the first session where law and order situation in the state will be reviewed. In the second session discussion will be made with SPs regarding crime related issues. Five different groups of collectors will have discussions on Drinking Water, Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan, Bhamashah Scheme, Direct Transfer of Benefits, Health Insurance, Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet, Public Grievance Redressal, Relief Works and MNREGA. The group meetings will be chaired by various Ministers. All groups will present their recommendations before Chief Minister.
Shri Rathore informed that the state cabinet also gave in-principal approval to the proposal regarding setting up of Medical College having 150 seats by Hemdha Medi Resources Pvt. Ltd. in Bubani village of Kishangarh (Ajmer). In the first phase 350 bedded hospital will be set up in medical college with the investment of Rs. 150 crores while in the second phase the beds will be increased from 350 to 450 with investment of Rs. 120 crores. Various exemptions to be given in VAT, entry tax and electricity charges according to the provisions made.
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister informed that the state cabinet also cleared proposal regarding setting up of new cement unit having 3.30 MTPA capacity and captive power plant at Nawalgarh (Jhunjhnu) by Ultratech Cement Ltd. Investment of worth Rs. 3000 crores will be made and around 1000 people to get direct and indirect employment in this project. Ultratech Cement Ltd. will also set up new cement unit of 2.20 MTPA capacity and captive power plant at Jaitaran (Pali). The company will invest Rs. 2100 crores and around 750 people to get direct and indirect employment.
The state cabinet also cleared proposal to allot 790 square yards land to Central Warehousing Corporation for the office at Jhalana Phase III at Rs. 32,200 per square meter based on the recommendation made by Committee formed under Divisional Commissioner, Jaipur.
