Ambassador of Japan to India Shri Kenji Hiramatsu meets CM

A Japanese delegation led by Japanese Ambassador in India Shri Kenji Hiramatsu called on Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje here at Chief Minister’s office on Tuesday.

During his meeting with Smt. Raje Japanese Ambassador discussed progress of irrigation and drinking water projects being run in the state with the help of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Possible cooperation from Japan in Four Water Concept, interlinking of Parvati and Kalisindh rivers, bringing surplus water of Sabarmati basin to Jawai dam and use of sea water after desalinization was also discussed.

Japanese Ambassador had all praise for Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan. Rajasthan will get long term benefit of this campaign, he said.

Chief Secretary Shri C. S. Rajan, Principal Secretary Finance Shri P. S. Mehra, Principal Secretary Industry Smt. Veenu Gupta, Secretary Plan Shri Akhil Arora and other senior officials of the state government were present during the meeting.
