Our Government Has Worked For Development Of Every Person In The State

State Level Function at Bikaner on completion of 3 years

Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has said that during our 3 year’s tenure the state government has worked in the manner that development reaches to each person in the state.

The next two years of our government will be focused on development of sectors like road, water, electricity, medical, education and agriculture. We will achieve the target we have set to provide employment. The dream of our youth shall be fulfilled, she said.

Smt. Raje was addressing the state level function at Sardar Patel Medical College ground in Bikaner on Tuesday on the occasion of completion of three years of the state government. She said today I have presented the three years’ report card ‘Acche Kaam, Thos Parinam’ before the people of the state and it shows that the development works we have done in the last three years have left the work of the previous government far behind. Some of our programmes and schemes have been introduced in the state have been implemented for the first time in the history of the state and have been applauded in the country and around the world. Due to the efforts we have made in the last three years our state is on the front position in many sectors, she said.

The Chief Minister on this occasion dedicated to the public development works of worth Rs. 127 crores and laid foundation stone for works worth Rs. 324 crores.

Smt. Raje said we have never done politics in development. During the last three years development works of worth Rs. 2700 crores were done in Bikaner. This year 56 roads of worth Rs. 75 crores are being constructed in Nokha. She also dedicated to the public Ravindra Rangmanch which has been prepared after expenditure of worth Rs. 9.50 crores. The people of Bikaner were waiting for this auditorium for last 20 years, she said.

The Chief Minister said Rajasthan has come out of the list of Bimaru state and now is in the front runner states. The survey, index and awards received by the state are witness of this development journey.

Smt. Raje said that offering employment opportunities to the youth through skill development was the state government’s priority. “We promised to give employment to 15 lakh youth. Progressing on that we created employment opportunities for 11 lakh youth along with one lakh state government jobs. In next two years, we would give offers of employment to people well beyond our promise,” she said. With dedication of 13 news ITI to the state on Tuesday, Rajasthan had become a state with total 1870 ITIs, the second highest in the country. Rajasthan is the first in the country with highest number of government ITIs.

The Chief Minister said that the state government upgraded 500 schools to upper middle schools without political consideration. In the state 9,895 Swami Vivekanand Adarsh Vidhyalayas were being developed. Of these, works have been completed in 1,340 schools. Total 3,097 adarsh vidhyalayas would be completed in second phase and rest 5,458 schools in the third phase.

Prior to this, the CM inaugurated Rozgar Mela at Polytechnic College. She said felicitated youth selected as Skill Icons and ITI brand ambassadors. She also inaugurated Aarogya Mela, Sahkar Mela, Khadi Mela, cancer awareness camp for women and health diagnostic camp.

Rajasthan State Roadways Corporation will get 500 new blueline buses before March 2017. For this, the state government would provide Rs 90 crore to the corporation. Computer Literacy Initiative for Comprehensive Knowledge (CLICK) scheme would be started in government middle, upper middle and Swami Vivekanand Model Schools from the upcoming academic session to impart computer skills to the students of class 6 to 10.

In urban areas, Mukhyamantri Shahri Jan Kalyan Shivir programme would be started for regularization of residential plots and houses and issuance of pattas. During this campaign, houses constructed upto 500 square meters on agriculture land in periphery areas would be regularized free of cost.

To provide food at affordable prices to the needy in urban areas Annapurna Rasoi would be launched from December 15 at 80 locations in 12 cities including Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Udaipur, Kota, Bharatpur, Jodhpur, Baran, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur and Banswara. In this scheme, breakfast and meals would be provided in Rs. 5 and Rs. 8 respectively through mobile vans.

Global Rajasthan Agritech Meet (GRAM) would be organized at Division level. In next one year, GRAM would be organized in 4 divisions including Bikaner.

Doles for Bikaner

Sewerage works would be done at Gangashahar under RUIDP-3 under a project amounting Rs. 180 crore. Tender process has been completed.
Development works amounting to Rs. 150 crore to be completed in Bikaner city under AMRUT Yojna. Of these Rs. 113.58 crore to be spent for sewerage, Rs. 34.95 crore for drinking water supplies and Rs. 2.5 crore for development of greenery and parks etc.
